Power supply for the 8th Circle of Light Moscow International Festival: the projection shown during the closing ceremony has been included in the Guinness World Records.
POWER TECHNOLOGIES provided uninterrupted power supply for this big and exciting show on Grebnoy Canal on a turnkey basis. This was the most technically sophisticated venue in the eight-year history of the Festival.
The Festival opened with the Carnival of Light Multimedia Show, which combined unique features of light and laser projections, a beautifully choreographed show of fountains and fire, and a spectacular pyrotechnic display.
During the closing ceremony of the Festival dedicated to the Year of Japan in Russia, a new record was set for the largest water screen projection that was later included in the Guinness World Records: the display comprised 250 fixed and 35 rotating fountains and 160 fire burners installed on the pontoons that switched on simultaneously at the end of the show.
During the closing show, spectators enjoyed a 40-minute display of Japanese pyrotechnics, which is world-famous for its unique beauty and scale. It involved large-caliber fireworks, with the biggest ones exploding into rosettes nearly 1 kilometer in diameter.
